Cappadocia
Today was a full day. I took an early domestic flight to Cappadocia and our tour group hit the floor running.
1. Goreme Panorama (#1 pic) –overlooks the small, quaint town of Goreme and Pigeon Valley
2. Mushroom Valley (#2-5 pic) –“From millions of years ago, the lava flows formed tuff rock, which wind and rain sculpted into sinuous valleys with curvy cliff faces and pointy fairy chimneys.”
3. Imaginary Valley (#6 pic) –stone formations look like animals –this one is a camel.
4. Goreme Open Air Museum (#7-9) –“is a rocky settlement area that has hosted an extreme monastery life between 4th to 13th centuries D.C.”
